I’m excited to announce my first site launch of 2010, jeffhallphoto.com. Jeff is a good friend of mine and a fellow local photographer. A couple weeks ago I mentioned the idea of an all html & css portfolio/blog site. He liked the idea and before we knew it, we were underway on the project. I’m happy with how the site turned out and showcases Jeff’s talents more than his last site did. I also believe he has a better place to blog now so hopefully we’ll see more from him in the blogging arena.

In addition to the new site, Jeff went through thousands of images and is presenting an up to date portfolio which includes a lot of new work. Very good stuff, especially in the wedding portfolio. Check it out for yourself, and leave him a comment on the blog.

two over zero

Last Friday Andrew & Elizabeth Ramos, personal friends of mine, launched a new website for a paper goods product line they are starting. Two Over Zero will eventually have a broader line but to start they have Christmas tags for your gifts, and recipe cards in two different sizes.

All the products will be printed in a two color process, thus, the name Two Over Zero. Several weeks ago they ask me to shoot some portraits of them for their new site and venture. Here’s one of the shot I delivered.

Canon 5d MkII

I finally got my hands on a Canon 5d MkII today for the first time and got to try out the video feature. Very cool stuff. I’m looking forward to a couple big video projects I’ve booked for this year. Shooting felt really natural to me, more than I thought it might. I’m hoping Nikon releases something more along those lines soon. We’ll see what happens.

Mollie got the boys these plates for Christmas. They love them, and we no longer have to take turns with the red plate. Here are a couple snaps with the iPhone. For some reason, I just keep posting iPhone images. I realize one shot is probably enough, but if I post Henry’s I better post Jude’s.
