Ok…maybe not featured, but I made it in anyway. I have a photograph printed on p.171
It’s less than a 1/2 inch square, but hey, I’m just glad to be in. Thanks to Bryan Martin for pulling me in on this creation of his.

That little black square is a shot of the last Greenville Drive game of the 2008 season. Experience Happy in Greenville for yourself.

Happy in Greenville

A couple months ago I shot several images for a new site promoting happiness, health, and well-being in our city. The site shows people who might be considering a move to Greenville all the the wonderful things we have going here. It also helps current residents locate physicians and locations for their health care needs.

Today the site has won the prestigious Site of the Day award at www.thefwa.com. FWA is well respected in the design world. It’s a great award for this new site. Congratulations to my friend Bryan Martin for his creative work on this. Bryan concepted, directed, illustrated, and willed this site into existence. From what he has told me the people at Grow Interactive where wonderful to work with. In addition to doing the development, they added some of their own creative spark. Brains on Fire, a local agency, connected all parties involved.

The site is full of secrets and fun things to discover. My images are tucked here and there with information about some of the local spots and attractions. Be sure to turn up your speakers and enjoy.

Hint: Click and hold on the hot air balloon for an extra special treat. You’ll have to be persistent to get it to rise to the top, but it’s worth it.

Here are some of the images I shot for the project.
