WEDDING: Maggie & Rushton
October 21, 2009 | Filed Under Weddings

A few weeks ago I got to second shoot a wedding with Olivia Griffin. She is quite capable on her own, but was in the final stages of pregnancy and thought it would be good to have some extra help for the day. I was happy to do it and thankful for the opportunity. I’ve never been a second shooter before, so it was a nice change for me.
The ceremony was very tender and tear filled. It was raining and we were all under large tents. I’m sure those in attendance will never forget it. I know I won’t.
This was also my first time working with Brigitte and Kim from Southern Panache Events. Given the tough weather conditions, these ladies had their hands full. They made everything run so smoothly and really made it all happen. If you need an event planner, check them out.
Here’s to Maggie & Rushton. I hope some of the moments I captured on your wedding day will be treasures for you for years to come. Many thanks to Olivia for having me. Be sure to check out some of her favorites from the day on her blog.

Beautiful job, Aaron. Way to save a woman in distress! ;) I love all the emotion…you always capture such real, gorgeous moments.
Oh, I LOVE THESE PICTURES! For one reason, rarely ever do you see a picture of the groom when he first sees his bride. This is a moment that can never be repeated. I thought you captured some of the most unique, meaningful shots! I always make sure I have someone taking snapshots for me just to get these moments. However, you out-did it! Thank you. JDeMars

Forever aunt of the groom, long time “aunt” of the bride – the pictures are perfectly beautiful.
