I didn’t mention the florists yesterday so I thought I’d show a couple more images from Maggie & Rushton’s wedding today highlighting the flowers. Embassy Flowers is responsible for these beautiful arrangements and bouquets.

WEDDING: Maggie & Rushton

A few weeks ago I got to second shoot a wedding with Olivia Griffin. She is quite capable on her own, but was in the final stages of pregnancy and thought it would be good to have some extra help for the day. I was happy to do it and thankful for the opportunity. I’ve never been a second shooter before, so it was a nice change for me.
The ceremony was very tender and tear filled. It was raining and we were all under large tents. I’m sure those in attendance will never forget it. I know I won’t.
This was also my first time working with Brigitte and Kim from Southern Panache Events. Given the tough weather conditions, these ladies had their hands full. They made everything run so smoothly and really made it all happen. If you need an event planner, check them out.
Here’s to Maggie & Rushton. I hope some of the moments I captured on your wedding day will be treasures for you for years to come. Many thanks to Olivia for having me. Be sure to check out some of her favorites from the day on her blog.

I shot a building today for a new client that involved a pretty impressive server room. Here are a couple detail shots I kind of liked.

Moving Portrait: LOLA

I’ve been working on a new series I’m calling Moving Portraits. I’ve shot several so far but haven’t posted any here yet.
Today, Lola turned two. I thought this would be the perfect day to start my series. This is a 4 minute portrait. If you watch it, you’ll know Lola a little better by the end.
I’m so thankful God gave her to me.
Vincent Laforet at the Matre Gallery

Last night I went to Atlanta for Vincent Laforet’s show opening at the Matre Gallery. It was really nice seeing these amazing tilt shift images at such large sizes. Six of these were 60×40 and eight were 36×24, 14 pieces in all.
I spoke with Vincent briefly and he was both gracious and kind. It was great meeting someone who has inspired me.
Here are a couple shots of the gallery and images on display. If you’re in the Atlanta area, stop and and see them. Well worth the time.

Another shot here at my Mobile Blog.
